‘Blue Bloods’ Fans Are Not Ready for This Devastating Season 13 News

Put down the remote, Blue Bloods fans. You won’t find a new episode of the Friday night staple on CBS on April 28. Instead, the network will air a rerun of the season 13 episode “Ghosted” that originally aired in October.

CBS has not addressed a reason for the delay, but we can confirm that the final three episodes will hit CBS on consecutive Fridays in May, so you can go ahead and mark your calendars. “Fire Drill” will air on May 5, “Irish Exits” will air on May 12, and “Forgive Us Our Trespasses,” the season 13 finale, will air on May 21.

The season finale will feature the return of Danny’s former partner, Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito). Jackie appeared on the first three seasons of the show before being written off (reportedly because of the actress’s personal health problems). The character left the police department due to stress, but it sounds like she will be back in action as she joins Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) to find a copycat killer.

Rest assured that more episodes of the hit TV show are on the way after this season wraps up. CBS confirmed that season 14 is a go, apparently thanks to the show’s stars, who took major salary cuts. If you’re not caught up, you can stream all episodes on Paramount+.
